Chichen Itza-I was prepared for a very hot day, but it rained pretty much the whole time we were there. I was thanking my lucky stars that I hadn’t worn a white t-shirt like one lady in our group who walked around the entire time with her arms crossed precariously across her chest…stumps for her! Here we are standing in front of the main building at the ruin site. What an amazing architectural undertaking.
David playing “Where’s Waldo” in the ruins. Don’t worry, he only had to hop two rope partitions for this shot.
Day at the beach-As you can see, the beaches in Cancun are out of this world: white sand that feels like walking in flour; crystal clear water that’s like climbing into the bathtub.
I’m in a really awkward stage of pregnancy where it looks like I’m just enjoying the all-inclusive meals a little too much. But as you can see, the baby bump is growing.
Cenotes-Cancun has a lot of underground rivers and caves (called cenotes) that you can explore. This was probably the best thing we did while we were there. Here we are in one of the caves. The water was a little cold for my liking, but baby Ludlow seemed to be OK with it! Do you like our oh-so-fashionable life jackets and snorkels?
David got to show off his mad zip-line skills. Gotta love the flexibility!

Super Cute photos. Your little tummy is adorable!! I hope all is going well as you get settled in out there!
Looks like you had a blast! We are headed to Cancun in one week for my birthday-so I LOVED seeing what we have to look forward to! :) I can't wait for Chichen Itza and I have heard great things about the beaches, but I am a little nervous about stories of the drinking water. You might have to email me some tips to know about Mexico, now that you have been there. You look adorable btw!! Can't wait to hear what you are having!
Okay, so I knew you would be incredibly cute pregnant. Have you felt the baby kick yet? That is the best part. Sounds like you guys are doing well.
Looks like such a great vacation, and i think the idea of going to mexico to make the transition easier is a great idea! What a cute little baby bump!! i am so glad that you had a wonderful vacation!
