Louisiana may be accused of many things (e.g. occupying some of the most natural-disaster-prone land in the U.S., operating under a set of laws unique to the state, promoting the culinary art of frying anything and everything). However if there is one thing Louisiana will never be accused of it's a lack of festivals. The most recent one was the Mudbug Madness Festival and boy was it mad...and HOT!
Caleb wasn't quite sure what to make of the mudbugs (a.k.a crawfish, or if you live in Nevada, crawdads)
He had his eyes on the prize: mommy's funnel cake. He's ready for solids, right?
Here's Caleb swapping spit (literally) with his friend Jaelynn who was also at the festival. He has a thing for older women.

GROSS on the spit part.. but CUTE on the baby part. He has to be the cutest baby boy ever... Much cuter than Tyson was at his age. Glad you're lovin the SOUTH!! We sometimes miss the diversity of life outside UT/Western US
That post was cruel. We love crawfish and all the festivities that go with it! You did a great job making Joe and me miss the south, and you guys. Your boy is a pretty good looking crawfish! Jenny sorry I haven't called you back yet. I've been Perry family reunioning. ( Try saying that word that's probably not a word three times fast! :-) We're at Cherry Hill and almost went and said hello to you parents. K, not really. I'll catch up with you in that next few days, I promise.
Those are some great faces Caleb is pulling. Way to go experiencing all that good stuff :)
You've come a long way from swearing off anything that lived in water to eating crawdaddys in almost every post! Way to branch out!!
